Where I want to put all my research, pls feel free to respond to it!
i'm a painter (mostly) with an interest in research- though I have a hard time actually researching due to a terrible attention span and crushing fear of judgement. I thought it would be better to try here than to not try at all though!
I've also recently been wanting to know more about computers, how to do basic code, and how to limit my digital footprint (very into protecting my data too atm , i feel sick at the thought of my idle actions earning money that aids military campaigns,,, terrible world we've allowed to be built!)
I hope to put my thoughts nicely in one place, the things i've liked recently, good things i've read, plans for potential future projects- or even maybe just a nice sandwich i've had (hopefully that comes soon, I'm sick on meal deals at the mo)
I am an organiser for a collective called "Rotten Crip Collective" , where me and a few other wonderful crips* (*disabled people, spastics, cripples, neurodiverse, the sexy, the fun) come together to make work and talk research.
The collective itself aims to be a living and growing archive, told from the perspective of the very people it serves.
We also do fun stuff, like exhibitions, evening events yada yada and are currently planning more creative endevours for the future, but I am proud of what we've made so far, pls do check our archive on the website above if you have time!
The wonderful Arlen has made all our past workshops and the research behind them available for all to see, for anyone else to use as a lesson plan or just to learn from home :-)
